Who the Best Detail is for
The Best Detail, which we call The Works, is for the owner who wants the whole car done properly in one visit. It suits a vehicle you are about to sell, a used car that has just become yours and needs a fresh start, a car coming out of winter storage, or simply one you love and want to see at its best.
It is also good preparation if protection is on your mind. The clay bar step lifts the contaminants a normal wash leaves bonded to the paint, so the polymer sealant goes onto a clean, smooth surface.
A fair caveat: the Best Detail cleans and protects the paint, but it is not paint correction. Deep scratches, heavy swirl marks and oxidised paint need paint correction, which is a separate service. And while the sealant adds shine and protection, it will not last like a FeynLab ceramic coating.
How it compares
Next to the Better Detail, Best adds engine degreasing with a motor glaze, the clay bar treatment, a polymer sealant applied by machine instead of carnauba wax, and a headliner clean. Both include the hand wash, wheels and tires, wheel wells, bug removal and an anti-bacterial interior clean.

What does the clay bar step do?
Even after a good wash, some contaminants stay bonded to the paint and make it feel rough. The clay bar lifts them off, so the paint is smooth before the sealant goes on.
Is the Best Detail worth it over the Better Detail?
If the engine is dirty, the headliner is marked or you want a sealant rather than wax, yes. If the car mainly needs a thorough clean inside and out, the Better Detail covers that.
Will the Best Detail remove scratches?
It is a cleaning and protection package. Light marks can look better afterwards, but scratches you can catch with a fingernail and heavy swirl marks need paint correction.
