FeynLab ceramic coating helps the paint shed water, salt and road film from an I-75 commute. Packages run from Ceramic Lite to Heal Lite and Self-Heal Plus.

Paint Protection Film for Grand Blanc

If you commute on I-75 toward Oakland County, the front bumper sees a lot of stones. XPEL paint protection film stops them, from a bumper kit to the full car.

I found Midwest paint protection three years ago when I purchased my black 15 passenger transit. My wife insisted on black and I know how hard it is to take care of. I took it to Midwest paint protection and a heal pro plus ceramic coating was recommended. After application I was stopped at multiple gas stations asking about my new van and how it looked so clean. This coating self heals and melts swirl marks away. Washing it consists of me pressure washing it and driving it home. It air drys to a mirror finish. I’ve never touched it with a towel to dry it. You can’t beat the ease of maintenance that this coating provides. Unfortunately, 2 years later my wife had a run in with a deer . After the body shop did its thing I took it back to Midwest to have the coating applied to the replacement panels and do the maintenance on the rest of the coating. I picked it up yesterday. Today I took a few of my kids to their baseball game and three people that know me well asked me if I bought a new van. I was parked next to a friend with a brand new Pacifica and my van’s paint made the new van look 3 years old. The results of Cody’s work are absolutely amazing. My 3 year old van looks better than a vehicle right off the lot. Megan made making my appointment extremely easy and she kept me updated on the progress of the work (they had to do paint correction on the newly painted panels because they didn’t look good). Don’t second guess it. Protect your investment. There is a reason that there are multiple brand new corvettes and Ferraris being picked up and dropped off at this place on a daily basis. Cody does amazing work. they will make your vehicle look better than factory new and also help you to maintain that look for years to come.

Again another great experience with this shop here. Cody is the son of a man who has been in the business since the 80s and it sure seems like his son has got the goods himself. Thank you Cody. I came in with my wife brand new explorer that I accident hit the back hatch button rather then start button in my garage. And it was scratched and gouged and all tore up. The very next day I go pick it up. And wow. Saved me so much money and again I would rather deal with these people rather than anywhere else. Thank you Cody.

Car Care Choices for Grand Blanc Drivers

A full detail, done properly

A real detail is not a wash with a vacuum. It means decontaminating the paint, cleaning the wheels and door jambs, and going through the interior panel by panel. It is the right first step for most cars, and it has to happen before coating or film.

Commuting on I-75

Grand Blanc sits right by I-75. If you drive it south most days, that is the case for paint protection film on the front end, and for ceramic coating on the rest so the car is easier to wash at the end of the week.

Before the salt

WaxOyl rust protection on the underside, booked in the fall, helps protect seams and the frame from salt over winter. Ask for a WaxOyl quote.

When to correct the paint

If you see swirl marks in the sun, paint correction removes them. If the paint looks good, you may not need it, and we will tell you so.

Questions

Questions from Grand Blanc Drivers

About 24 miles, roughly 30 to 35 minutes, using M-54, I-69 and M-15.

No. All work is done at our Otisville shop. You can wait for shorter jobs or drop the car off.

That depends on the car. Tell us its condition inside and out when you call and we will suggest Good, Better or Best.

If you drive I-75 most days, the front end will collect stone chips. Film is the only thing that stops them; coating and wax do not. For a car you plan to keep, it is worth considering.

In the fall, before the roads are salted. Ask for a WaxOyl quote.
