The Better Detail package will provide your vehicle with the car detailing it craves. This package includes an exterior hand wash, chamois and/or blow dry, degrease of the door jams, trunk jams, tailgate (if available) and hatch jam. Next, we clean the wheels and tires, rinse out the wheel wells and debug your vehicle if necessary. Once your exterior is thoroughly cleaned, we add Carnauba Wax (spray or paste) to give your vehicle added shine. Next we perform an anti-bacterial interior cleaning that is 97% moisture free. We clean the carpets, seats, fabric, leather, vinyl, console, dashboard, and door pads. We apply a balanced leather or vinyl conditioner, clean the windows, add an optional air freshener and offer an optional trunk, hatch and door jam cleaning. Who the Better Detail is for
The Better Detail is for a car that needs more than a quick refresh. Maybe it has been a season or two since the last proper clean, the kids and the dog have left their mark on the back seat, or winter has packed the wheel wells and door jambs with salt and grime.
Outside, the car gets a hand wash and dry, the door, trunk, tailgate and hatch jambs degreased, the wheels and tires cleaned, the wheel wells rinsed out and bugs taken off where needed. Then carnauba wax, spray or paste, goes on for added shine. Inside, the carpets, seats, fabric, leather, vinyl, console, dashboard and door pads get an anti-bacterial clean, followed by a balanced leather or vinyl conditioner and clean windows.
One honest point. Carnauba wax looks great, but it is still wax. It adds shine and some short-term protection, not the staying power of a sealant or a coating. If long-lasting protection is the goal, think of this detail as the start rather than the finish.
How it compares
Next to the Good Detail, Better adds the jambs, the wheels, tires and wheel wells, bug removal, the wax and a real clean of the interior fabrics rather than a vacuum and wipe down. If your car is already clean and you only want it kept that way, Good may be all you need.
The Best Detail, The Works, goes further again. It degreases the engine and adds a motor glaze, uses the clay bar to lift bonded contaminants from the paint, and swaps the wax for a polymer sealant applied by machine. The headliner gets cleaned as well.

What is the difference between the Better and Best Detail?
The Best Detail adds engine degreasing with a motor glaze, the clay bar treatment, a machine-applied polymer sealant in place of carnauba wax, and a headliner clean. Better already covers what most cars need for a thorough clean inside and out.
Is carnauba wax the same as a ceramic coating?
No. Wax sits on top of the paint and wears away with washing and weather. A FeynLab ceramic coating bonds to the clear coat and lasts far longer. Wax is a nice finish between details; a coating is the choice when you want protection that stays.
Does the Better Detail clean leather seats?
Yes. Leather and vinyl are on the list of surfaces cleaned in this package, and a balanced leather or vinyl conditioner goes on afterwards.
