Our Services for Flint Drivers
Ceramic Coating for Flint Drivers
We install FeynLab ceramic coating. It bonds to the clear coat and makes salt, brake dust and road film easier to wash off, which matters when a car spends the winter on Flint streets. Packages run from Ceramic Lite to the self-healing Heal Lite and Self-Heal Plus.
XPEL Paint Protection Film for Flint
Freeway miles on I-69 and I-75 throw gravel at the front of the car. XPEL paint protection film takes those hits instead of the paint. Choose a bumper kit, a partial front, a full front or full-car coverage.
Car Detailing for Flint
Our auto detailing comes in Good, Better and Best packages, inside and out. It is a good reset after a Flint winter, before a sale, or before coating or film goes on.
Interior Detailing for Flint
Interior detailing cleans seats, carpets, mats, dash, door panels and glass. Ask about the interior and textile coating if the car carries kids, pets or work boots.
Boat Detailing and Protection
Flint boat owners can book marine detailing and protection at the shop, before launch or before winter storage.
Window Tinting for Flint
Our window tinting cuts heat, glare and UV light and adds privacy. Michigan has its own rules for how dark the front windows can be; ask us and we will keep your car legal.

I found Midwest paint protection three years ago when I purchased my black 15 passenger transit. My wife insisted on black and I know how hard it is to take care of. I took it to Midwest paint protection and a heal pro plus ceramic coating was recommended. After application I was stopped at multiple gas stations asking about my new van and how it looked so clean. This coating self heals and melts swirl marks away. Washing it consists of me pressure washing it and driving it home. It air drys to a mirror finish. I’ve never touched it with a towel to dry it. You can’t beat the ease of maintenance that this coating provides. Unfortunately, 2 years later my wife had a run in with a deer . After the body shop did its thing I took it back to Midwest to have the coating applied to the replacement panels and do the maintenance on the rest of the coating. I picked it up yesterday. Today I took a few of my kids to their baseball game and three people that know me well asked me if I bought a new van. I was parked next to a friend with a brand new Pacifica and my van’s paint made the new van look 3 years old. The results of Cody’s work are absolutely amazing. My 3 year old van looks better than a vehicle right off the lot. Megan made making my appointment extremely easy and she kept me updated on the progress of the work (they had to do paint correction on the newly painted panels because they didn’t look good). Don’t second guess it. Protect your investment. There is a reason that there are multiple brand new corvettes and Ferraris being picked up and dropped off at this place on a daily basis. Cody does amazing work. they will make your vehicle look better than factory new and also help you to maintain that look for years to come.Posted on Google![]()

Again another great experience with this shop here. Cody is the son of a man who has been in the business since the 80s and it sure seems like his son has got the goods himself. Thank you Cody. I came in with my wife brand new explorer that I accident hit the back hatch button rather then start button in my garage. And it was scratched and gouged and all tore up. The very next day I go pick it up. And wow. Saved me so much money and again I would rather deal with these people rather than anywhere else. Thank you Cody.
What Flint Driving Does to a Car
Freeways and salt
Flint is the Genesee County seat and sits where I-69 and I-75 cross, so a lot of Flint driving is freeway driving. That means stone chips on the hood, bumper and mirrors, and in winter a coat of road salt on everything below the windows. If you only do one thing, protect the front end: an XPEL partial or full front kit covers the areas that take most of the chips.
Sun through the glass
Summer sun through untinted glass fades the dash and heats the cabin while the car sits in a parking lot. Tint is one of the simplest ways to make a daily driver more comfortable, and it protects the interior at the same time.
Rust underneath
Salt does its worst work where you cannot see it. We apply WaxOyl rust protection to the underside, and the best time is before the first salt goes down in late fall. Ask for a WaxOyl quote.
When coating is not the answer
A ceramic coating will not hide swirl marks or fix chipped paint. If the paint is already marked, paint correction comes first, then coating or film.

You bring it to us. All work is done at our Otisville shop and we do not offer mobile service. You can wait for shorter jobs or drop the car off. Call (810) 529-0019 to plan it.
Michigan has its own rules for how dark the front windows can be; ask us and we will keep your car legal. Our tinting page explains the film options.
Film stops stone chips; coating does not. If you drive I-69 or I-75 every day, a common setup is film on the front end and ceramic coating on the rest of the car. We can talk it through when you call.
Before salt season, so the underside is protected before the first snow. Ask for a quote and we will book a time in the fall.
