Car Detailing and Paint Correction for Fenton, MI
Fenton is a fair drive from our shop: about 37 miles, roughly 45 to 50 minutes. For car detailing, paint correction and XPEL paint protection film, that is a drive worth planning. We are in Otisville, in the northeast corner of Genesee County; Fenton sits in the southwest corner, near the Oakland and Livingston county lines.
Because of the distance, a drop-off usually makes more sense than waiting. All work is done at the shop by appointment, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Call (810) 529-0019 or ask for a quote.

I found Midwest paint protection three years ago when I purchased my black 15 passenger transit. My wife insisted on black and I know how hard it is to take care of. I took it to Midwest paint protection and a heal pro plus ceramic coating was recommended. After application I was stopped at multiple gas stations asking about my new van and how it looked so clean. This coating self heals and melts swirl marks away. Washing it consists of me pressure washing it and driving it home. It air drys to a mirror finish. I’ve never touched it with a towel to dry it. You can’t beat the ease of maintenance that this coating provides. Unfortunately, 2 years later my wife had a run in with a deer . After the body shop did its thing I took it back to Midwest to have the coating applied to the replacement panels and do the maintenance on the rest of the coating. I picked it up yesterday. Today I took a few of my kids to their baseball game and three people that know me well asked me if I bought a new van. I was parked next to a friend with a brand new Pacifica and my van’s paint made the new van look 3 years old. The results of Cody’s work are absolutely amazing. My 3 year old van looks better than a vehicle right off the lot. Megan made making my appointment extremely easy and she kept me updated on the progress of the work (they had to do paint correction on the newly painted panels because they didn’t look good). Don’t second guess it. Protect your investment. There is a reason that there are multiple brand new corvettes and Ferraris being picked up and dropped off at this place on a daily basis. Cody does amazing work. they will make your vehicle look better than factory new and also help you to maintain that look for years to come.Posted on Google![]()

Again another great experience with this shop here. Cody is the son of a man who has been in the business since the 80s and it sure seems like his son has got the goods himself. Thank you Cody. I came in with my wife brand new explorer that I accident hit the back hatch button rather then start button in my garage. And it was scratched and gouged and all tore up. The very next day I go pick it up. And wow. Saved me so much money and again I would rather deal with these people rather than anywhere else. Thank you Cody.

Why Fenton Cars Often Need Paint Correction First
Swirl marks usually come from washing
Automatic car washes and old wash mitts leave fine scratches that show up as swirls in the sun. Paint correction machine polishes them out. On a dark car it is the step that makes the most visible difference, and it is the right step before any coating or film goes on, because both lock in whatever is underneath.
Plan the trip around the job
A maintenance detail and a full correction with coating are very different amounts of shop time. Tell us what you want when you call and we will tell you how long to plan for, so you only make the 45 to 50 minute drive once.
Salt season
Fenton roads get the same salt as the rest of Genesee County. WaxOyl rust protection on the underside is worth doing before winter. Ask for a WaxOyl quote.

If the paint has swirls or light scratches, yes. A coating seals in whatever is on the surface, so we correct the paint first. If the paint is already in good shape, a lighter polish may be enough; we check it at the shop.
