Who the partial kit is for
Most rock chips land in a band across the front of the car: the bumper, the leading edge of the hood, the front of the fenders, the mirrors and the headlights. The Partial Kit covers exactly that band with XPEL paint protection film, cut to fit your vehicle.
It suits commuters who put on a lot of highway miles, a newer car you want to keep free of chips where it counts, and anyone who wants more than a bumper kit without covering the whole front end. The covered areas are protected from rock chips, road salt, tree sap, insect acid, dirt and debris.
The trade-off is that the film stops a third of the way up the hood and fenders. Up close you may be able to see that edge, more on some colours than others, and the paint behind it is not covered. If the line would bother you, or you want the whole hood protected, the Full Front Kit is the cleaner option. And no film stops every impact. A deep gouge can still cut through.
How it compares
The Bumper Kit covers the bumper alone. It is the lighter option if the bumper is all you are worried about.
The Full Front Kit covers the entire hood, the full fenders with wrapped edges, the bumper, the side mirrors and the headlights. The Full Car package covers every painted panel you choose.

What exactly does the Partial Kit cover?
The bumper, the headlights, one third of the hood, one third of the front two fenders and the front of the side mirrors.
Will I see where the film ends on the hood?
The film is clear and close to invisible, but where it stops on the hood and fenders, the edge can show up close. The Full Front Kit avoids that line on the hood because it covers the whole panel.
Why put film on the headlights?
Headlights sit right at the front and take the same stones as the bumper. With film on them, the film takes those hits instead of the lens.
