Who full car film is for
Full Car is the most complete paint protection we offer: XPEL paint protection film on every painted panel you choose. It is for owners who want the whole body protected, not just the front. A high-value car, a colour that would be hard to match if a panel ever needed paint, or a new vehicle you plan to keep for years.
On every covered panel the film protects against rock chips, road salt, insect acid, tree sap and more. The film has a self-healing clear coat, so light swirls and scratches in the top of the film can fade with warmth from the sun or a warm garage. That keeps the finish looking right after years of washing.
The honest limits. Film is not armour, and a deep gouge or a hard impact can still cut through it. Full coverage is also a bigger job than a front kit, so it is worth talking through which panels you actually need. Every painted panel you choose means you can leave some out.
How it compares
The Full Front Kit covers the entire hood, full fenders, bumper, mirrors and headlights. The Partial Kit covers the band across the front where most chips land, and the Bumper Kit covers the bumper only.
Because most chips land on the front of the car, a front kit is enough for many drivers. Full Car is for when you want the doors, sides, roof and rear protected as well.

Full car film questions
Do I need the whole car covered?
Not always. If you mostly worry about chips from the road, a Full Front Kit covers where most of them land. Full Car makes sense when you want every panel protected, from door dings to scuffs on the rear bumper.
What does the self-healing clear coat do?
The top layer of the film recovers from light swirls and scratches with warmth. It does not repair a cut that goes through the film.
Can you coat the film with ceramic?
Yes. A ceramic coating can go over paint protection film. It adds gloss and makes the film easier to wash.
